I found this on bbc iplayer where Comedian and activist Mark Thomas creates a People's Manifesto, taking suggestions from his studio audience and then getting them to vote for the best.

Tokyo Presentation

We did our presentation on Tokyo today. I did a brief history on Tokyo as a place, including different areas of their culture. I was also in charge of putting all the slides together. We agreed it would be red background with grey writing, but when I made it I chose the wrong red. I didn't appreciate the difference it would make at the time, maybe because it was just on my laptop and not big. Plus I was only looking at 2 slides so when the other 10 or so slides were added it made it much more intense. I was a bit nervous to begin with and then Jamie asked me a question when I started talking and I shat myself a bit and skipped out at least 2 paragraphs I had written down, and basically ran away from the computer after cause I thought Hannah needed to click her own slide in time, she didn't. So that looked a bit silly but practice makes perfect I guess, so it can only go better next time. The rest of the presentation went really though.

Lectra

I'm really enjoying Lectra so far. I realised I much prefer things where there is a right and wrong answer to it. I hated the paper pattern cutting so I thought Lectra would be even more boring but it's really good. Last week I didn't make it to the lesson, so in todays lesson I did all the work for today and last week and I still got to leave by 12.40. I was very pleased with myself. We also had to do a layout plan and see how efficient we could make it, and me and the computer were an equal match. Also my loan is meant to come on Monday! And it better cause I'm bored of phoning up those ignorant people. And its the weekend so all in all a very good day, and I'm in a really good mood.
